Eight international medals for Mayo artisan butchers

Kelly’s of Newport (Artisan Butchers) Limited have captured eight medals at the international IFFA 2019 Food Fair in Frankfurt, Germany.

Their Wild Atlantic black and white puddings, which contains seaweed, and their prestigious black pudding, were awarded gold medal while the company's Hazlett also took a gold award.

They won silver medals for their ham loin, smoked ham loin and smoked rasher.

A bronze medal was awarded for their Italian inspired Kelly’s Chorizo.

Sean Kelly, who attended the event, expressed his delight with the success.

With over 1,000 exhibitors from 49 countries, the IFFA event is the world’s leading trade fair and international meeting place for the industry.
