Mayo gardaí continue investigations into Doolough robbery

Gardaí in Mayo are continuing their investigations into the robbery of jewellery and cash from a car in the Louisburgh area over the weekend.

The vehicle was broken into between 3 and 3.30 p.m on Sunday last at Doolough, one of the region's most scenic locations.

A significant amount of cash and jewellery was stolen.

A new appeal has been issued to anyone with information to contact Westport Garda Station at (098) 25555.
