Break-in to cars at Mayo beauty spot being probed
GARDAÌ in north Mayo are investigating the targetting of parked cars by thieves at one of the region's most popular beauty spots.
Two parked cars were broken into at Downpatrick Head yesterday while the owners were sight-seeing.
A handbag, which had been hidden from public view, was stolen in one of the break-ins.
There was nothing taken in the other break-in but one of the car windows was smashed.
