Mayo minors score landslide win over Roscommon

MAYO have achieved back-to-back wins in the Connacht MFC round robin series with a landslide victory over Roscommon in Ballina tonight.

Despite the visitors registering the first two scores of the encounter, they were swept aside before half-time by a rampant Mayo attack which struck four goals.

Ciaran Mylette executed two of them with Paddy Heneghan and Frank Irwin netting the others.

In one late change to the starting Mayo 15, Alfie Morrison replaced Eoin Gilraine.

The home side, leaders by 4-8 to 0-3 at the interval, took the opportunity in the second half of playing substitutes M. Tighe, Gilraine, R. Hughes, J. Grady, C. Boland and C. O'Connell.
