Memorial Service to be held in Tourmakeady for victims of US road tragedy

THE tragic deaths have been announced of John and Caitlin (Holtzman) Heneghan, New York, U.S.A, and late of Gorteenmore, Tourmakeady.

They were killed when their car was struck by a suspected drunk driver near Albany at the weekend.

They are very deeply regretted by their loving families and friends, to whom heartfelt sympathy is tendered.

It has been announced on the death notices website, RIP.ie, that cremation of the remains and Memorial Service will take place in the U.S.A.

This will be followed by Requiem Mass/Memorial Service in Tourmakeady and interment of ashes.

Final arrangements will be announced later.
