Passing of much-loved south Mayo personality

THE death has taken place of Frank Clarke, Killeenrevagh, Hollymount, and formerly Ballygowan, Claremorris.

A popular and widely respected personality, news of his passing has evoked an immense sense of loss in the community.

He is survived by his wife Mary (née Shalley), sons TP and Dermot, sister Teresa Prendergast (Kilbannon, Tuam), daughters-in-law Debbie and Sarah, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, to whom sympathy is tendered.

His remains will be reposing at Roundfort Funeral Home tomorrow (Friday) evening, from 6 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to Immaculate Conception Church, Roundfort.

Requiem Mass takes place on Saturday at 10 a.m. with burial afterwards in Roundfort Cemetery.
