Mayo man dies after horse riding accident in India

THE death has occurred following a horse riding accident in India of Alex Findlater, Cong, and formerly of Rathgar, Dublin 6.

He was husband of Trish and brother of Grania, Suzanne, John and the late Jeanette.

His death is a deep and sad loss to his family, in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends, to whom heartfelt sympathy is tendered.

The deceased lived a full and happy life.

Funeral Service takes place on Thursday, June 6, at 11 o'clock in St. Brigid’s Church, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, followed by burial at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Local Councillor Damien Ryan said the deceased was held in high regard in the community and his passing is widely mourned.

"He was an affable and sincere man and I take this opportunity to extend my deepest sympathy to his wife Trish and family," added Councillor Ryan.
