Mayo gardaì investigating fake notes complaints

GARDAÌ in Castlebar are investigating a number of complaints of counterfeit notes being circulated in the town tonight.

There have reports of attempts to pass fake €50 and €20 notes at business outlets.

A general alert has been issued to the local retail sector.
