Repairs continue on burst Swinford water main

REPAIRS to a burst water main in Swinford are causing supply disruptions and low pressure in the area.

Irish Water have issued an update on the repairs this afternoon, saying the works now have an estimated completion time of midnight tomorrow (Thursday, June 27).

A water tanker has been in place since 9 a.m. this morning.

The update from on the water.ie website stated: Works now have an estimated completion time of midnight on 27 June.

Supply may take 2-3 hours to fully return to all affected properties.
