Peter Mark honours Mayo employee for long-standing service

PETER Mark, Ireland’s leading hairdressing group, has honoured 75 of its employees for their valued contribution and long-standing service to the company.

The Peter Mark Long Service Awards took place at The Westin Hotel, Dublin, and recognised employees who have worked at salons for 10 years plus.

One of those recognised was Tracy Kearney from the Castlebar salon who was honoured for 10 years of service.

Collectively the 75 people honoured have over 1,400 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, ranging from stylists to support staff. That equates to over 2.8 million hours of blow-dying, cutting and colouring hair!

Speaking at the awards, Peter O’Rourke, CEO of Peter Mark, said: “As a company built on people, today is an important day.
