McStay expects Kerry to defeat Mayo
FORMER Mayo star Kevin McStay expects Kerry to overcome James Horan's charges by three or four points in tomorrow's All-Ireland SFC Super 8s clash in Killarney.
Speaking on Saturday Sport on RTÈ Radio One, he said the game will show whether or not Mayo have momentum or are 'wrecked' after four knock-out matches on consecutive weekends.
"I believe their injury problems will catch up with them," he said.
However, he believes Mayo can afford to lose the game whereas Kerry cannot.
"To be honest, I could not see Kerry bouncing back if they lose this one but Mayo could.
"In the circumstances, I think Kerry will win by two, three or four points," he added.
