Day care service at Mayo nursing cancelled again

HOME care services have been cancelled again this week at the McBride Community Nursing Home in Westport.

Local Councillor Brendan Mulroy called on the HSE to sort out the problem quickly.

He hit out: "It's a poor way to treat the elderly of our community.

"Week after week this service is being downgraded."

Mayo Fianna Fàil Deputy Lisa Chambers is to raise the matter with the Health Minister Simon Harris.
