Rebranding of top Mayo hotel confirmed

Comer Group Hotels has announced the rebranded the former Harlequin Hotel in Castlebar as The Ellison.

The Ellison is the latest addition to their managed group of hotels.

The renaming of the hotel coincides with the 1st anniversary of the purchase of the hotel and so much has been achieved in that short space of time.

Over the past six months the property has undergone a refurbishment project which has seen a transformation of the ground floor, including the lobby, restaurant, meeting and events suites.

Siar Restaurant & Bar is Castlebar’s newest eatery offering smart, casual dining in a contemporary setting.

Warm, inviting textures and furnishings give a great sense of comfort and style to this beautifully refurbished venue.

The in-house Mixologist creates fabulous cocktails, including the classics, to turn any evening into an occasion.

The newly opened Event Suite offers a smart, elegant setting for meetings and special occasions. A little touch of luxury is never objected to.

Catering for up to 100 guests, The Nephin and Lannagh Suites are perfect for most events, whatever the occasion.

Following a very busy summer season, the Ellison is now gearing up for the Christmas season and expects a large amount of interest in the hotel for celebratory events.
