Two Mayo golf clubs have their eyes on All-Ireland glory next weekend.
Castlebar and Westport are competing in the AIG-sponsored Golfing Union of Ireland's cup and shield finals at Westport Golf Club.
Castlebar are in action on Friday from 11 a.m. in the semi-final of the Pierce Purcell Shield, their opponents being Cill Dara.
The second penultimate round match, involving Rossmore and Charleville, tees off 45 minutes earlier.
The decider is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Westport play Malone in their Junior Cup semi-final on Saturday, starting at 10.10 a.m. Contesting the other semi-final are Dun Laoghaire and Tramore.
The final has been fixed for 9,30 a.m. on Sunday.
Other All-Ireland finals to be decided over the weekend are the Senior Cup, Barton Shield and Jimmy Bruen Shield.
