Predeased by his son Gary and brother Nial.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, sons Séan and David, daughters Sarah and Ruth, brother Séan, sister Barbara, grandchildren, Oisín and Grace, daughers-in-law Sue and Amy, son- in-law Daire, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at Ballintubber Resource Centre on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock.

Private removal from his family home on Friday morning for Mass at 12 noon in Ballintubber Abbey, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Leach, Carn, Charlestown.

She is deeply regretted by her husband Sean, daughter Siobhan, sons Mark, John and Paul, sister, brothers, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbors and friends.

Mary will repose at the Horkan Funeral Home, Charlestown, on Friday evening from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m. with removal to St Patrick’s Church, Bushfield, arriving at 8 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 o clock followed by burial in Bushfield Cemetery.

 

Douglas (Doug) McManus, Swinford

Douglas (Doug) McManus, Retired Comdt., late of Circular Road, Swinford, and Galway City.

Predeceased by his brother Fr. Denis C.S.Sp., he will be fondly missed by his sister Rhona (Navan), brothers Ray (San Diego) and Vincent (New York) and by his sister-in-law Ann, nephews John and Paul (San Francisco and Chicago), relatives and a large circle of loyal and devoted friends in particularly Marita and Ger, Paddy and Finola and Helen and Dave whose extraordinary support he appreciated so much.

Reposing at 'An Teaghlach Uillinn’ Nursing Home, Church Road, Moycullen (H91 RW96) on Thursday, from 6.30 to 8.00 p.m.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Garrison Church, Renmore, Galway (H91 E22C) with burial afterwards in Kilconduff Cemetery, Swinford, to arrive at 3 p.m. approximately. Family flowers only please. Donations (if desired) to the Galway Hospice.

Mary Broderick (née Thornton), “Rhylyn,” Ballintemple, Castlegar, Co. Galway, and late of Swinford.

Beloved wife of Tommie, and sister of the late Eddie, she will be sadly missed by her daughters Maura, Orla and Niamh, sons Sean and Gerry, sister Breege, Patsy, Theresa, brother Benny, grandchildren, T.J., Diarmuid, Liam, Fionán, Naofa and Nollaig, daughters-in-law Elaine and Orla, sons-in-law Andy, John and Shane, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Beloved wife of Michel and much loved mother of Claire, Thomas and Céline.

Predeceased by her father Thomas and brother Paul, she will be greatly missed by her family, her mother Eileen, brothers Michael, John, Tomás and Ciaran, sister Celine, granddaughter Eva, sons and daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jimmy was predeceased by his wife Beryl, son Eamonn and daughters Ann and Mary.

He is survived by his son Seán (Dublin), daughters Renée (Maynooth) and Maree (Maynooth), grandchildren James, Alan, Vivienne and Georgina, daughter-in-law Sheila, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Anthony (Tony) Munnelly of Milton Keynes and formerly of Doohoma Head.

All who knew him are invited by the family to attend the Remembrance Mass to be held on Saturday at 12 noon in Doohoma Church followed by the burial of the ashes in Doohoma Cemetery.

Funeral will arrive at St. Mary's Church, Bofeenaun, on Sunday at 1.45 p.m. for Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
