Action sought on Turlough greenway bridge

A MEMBER of Mayo County Council wants to see action on plans for a bridge on the Turlough greenway.

Councillor Michael Kilcoyne said landowners were willing to give land to accommodate the project and yet, no discussions have been held with them many months later.

He was disappointed - it wasn’t good enough.

He called for an updated report on the project, to which objections were raised when first mooted a number of years ago.
