Mayo gardaí to investigate 'targeting' of houses
HOUSES in the Mount Assumpta area of Ballina are being 'targeted' in a spate of anti-social behaviour attacks.
Local Councillor John O'Hara made the claim when he referenced one house in particular which had graffiti sprayed on its walls, a firelighter put through the letterbox and even the lock in the door glued.
He asked if a temporary camera be located in the area in an attempt to catch the culprits.
The issue was one for An Garda Síochána, said Ms. Teresa Durkin, district executive engineer.
