Passing of much-loved Castlebar personality
THE death has taken place of Breege (Bridgie) Scott (née Joyce), Derryharriff, Castlebar, and late of Tubbernavine, Lahardane.
A popular and much-loved personality, news of her passing is widely mourned by the community at large.
Predeceased by her husband Tommy and brother Paul, she is deeply regretted by her her daughters Breda (Mayock, Bofeenaun), Annette (Clarke, Bohola), Josephine (Castlebar) and Maureen (Greaney, Castlebar), sons Tom, John, Peter and Mark, sisters Ann (Clarke, Keenagh) and Mary (Leonard, Newport), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.
Her remains will be reposing at the Coady Funeral Home, Linenhall Street, Castlebar, on Sunday evening from 5p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to her daughter Maureen's residence.
Removal on Monday morning at 10 a.m. from Maureen's residence to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m.
Burial takes place afterwards in the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
