Castlebar Mitchels announce appointment of new team manager

CASTLEBAR Mitchels has announced the appointment of a new senior team manager.

He is Tuam-based Alan Flynn, a highly-rated performance coach who has worked at club and inter-county level in recent years.

Flynn coached the Kildare senior squad last season and previously worked with the Clare panel.

The clubs with whom he has worked over the years include Tuam Stars, Annaghadown and Ballinrobe.

His appointment is regarded as a significant coup by the club and he replaces Declan Shaw in the role.
