Good news for N60 motorists

THERE'S some good news for motorists who travel the N60 via Balla.

The road works at Lagnamuck, just outside Balla, are due to finish up soon.

The scheme should be opened up fully in the next two to three weeks, head of roads with Mayo County Council, Paul Dolan, told a roads and transportation SPC meeting in Castlebar today (Tuesday).

Asked by Councillor Cyril Burke if he expected it to be completed by Christmas, the answer was 'yes'.
