New garda appeal issued over Mayo woman missing for 19 years
A NEW garda appeal has been issued for information in respect of a Mayo woman who has been missing since 2000.
Sandra Collins, Killala, disappeared on her way home on December 4, 2000.
When last seen Sandra was wearing black trousers, a maroon polo neck jumper, a beige sleeveless jacket with a hood and black boots.
Born in 1971, she was 5 ft. tall, of slim build and had brown hair with red highlights.
Westport-based Superintendent Joe McKenna said next Wednesday will mark 19 years since Sandra went missing.
He is appealing to anybody with information to contact the gardai at Ballina on 096 – 21422, the Garda confidential line on 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
“Any information we receive will be treated with the strictest of confidence,” added Supt. McKenna.
