Death of Mrs. Maisie Sweeney, Ballyhaunis

THE death has taken place of Mrs. Maisie Sweeney (nee Woolley) of Drimbane, Ballyhaunis.

In her 83rd year, the deceased, formerly from Hollymount, was predeceased by her husband Terence and her brother Mick (Hollymount).

She is survived by her sons Sean and Terence (Ballyhaunis), her daughters Mary (Balla), Patricia (Foxford), Martina (Claremorris), Rosaleen (Woodford) and Katrina (Ballyhaunis), brother Peter (US), sisters Nora (Hollymount), Kathleen (Cloghans Hill) and Anne (Castlelawn Heights, Galway), to whom deepest sympathy is extended.

Reposing is at the home of her daughter Katrina, No. 19 Old Racecourse, Knock Road, Ballyhaunis, from 5 until 7 p.m. on Saturday evening with removal on Sunday morning for Funeral Mass at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Ballyhaunis, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
