Burrishoole Parish Magazine reflects on memorable year

THE 2019 Burrishoole Parish Magazine has been launched by Fr. Tod Nolan in Nevin's of Tiernaur.

The magazine records events for the many community and social organisations of the parish.

Fr Todd said that 2019 was a good year for the area.

“Our underage footballers experienced notable success, Mulranny triumphed on the European stage in the Entente Florale.

“Tiernaur hosted 'The Banner' and the publishing of 'Remember US'. The Newport Street Party went from strength to strength as did the various festivals which ran throughout the year,” he said.

Copies of the magazine are available from Centra, Kelly's Service Station and Post Office in Newport. It is also available in Doherty's and the Mulranny Post Office.
