High number of patients awaiting beds at Mayo hospital today

A TOTAL of 16 patients are on trolleys at Mayo University Hospital today.

Eleven of them are in wards while five are in the emergency department.

A total of 414 admitted patients are waiting for hospital beds nationwide, 315 are waiting in the emergency department, while 99 are in wards elsewhere in hospitals.
