First Mayo candidate announces official launch of general election campaign

MAYO Fine Gael candidate Alan Dillon has become the first candidate in the constituency to announce the official launch of his 2020 general election campaign.

He stated: "I’m delighted to announce the launch of my 2020 General Election campaign.

"For two years, since being selected as a candidate for Fine Gael, I’ve been speaking to local people, listening to your concerns and gaining a better understanding of what you expect from your local TDs.

"I believe it’s time for a new voice in Mayo. So, this Friday, former Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD will officially launch my campaign and I will share my vision for national politics.

"I extend an invitation to members of the public to come along."

It takes place in the TF Royal Hotel, Castlebar, at 9.30 p.m.
