Death of much-loved Ballinrobe personality

THE death has taken place at Galway Hospice of Catherine O'Hare, Carnalecka, Ballinrobe.

She was a former member of the staff of the foresty agency, Coillte Teo., Castlebar, and was held in high regard by her colleagues.

Catherine O'Hare loved the outdoor life and was a regular participant of the Castlebar International Fours Days Walks Festival, an event she truly enjoyed and at which she made many great friends over the years.

Predeceased by her father James (Jimmy), she was beloved daughter of Mary and treasured sister, aunt and friend to many.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the O'Hare family on their immense loss.

Her remains are reposing at St. Joseph’s Funeral Home, Ballinrobe, this evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

Removal takes place from her residence on Saturday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe, for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m., followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium.
