Mayo Garda Youth Award recipients are feted

The winners of the Mayo Garda Youth Awards have been feted.

They are as follows:

Individual Award Winner: Sophie Elizabeth Shally from St. Louis Community School Kiltimagh.

Group Award Winners: Junior Volunteers Cairde Crann Mor, Ballinrobe.

Special Award Winner: Aimee O'Loughlin 'Bumbleance,' Ballina.

Community Safety Award Winners: The 'WITH' Project, Castlebar.

The Belmullet district award winners are St Brendans College Under-19 Basketball team.

The Ballina District Award winner is Wah Ku Say of St. Mary's Secondary School Ballina.

The Swinford District Award winner is Cathal Gavin of Scoil Muire agus Padraig, Swinford.

The Claremorris District Award winner is Jamie Hession of St. Coleman's College, Claremorris.

The Castlebar District Award winners are Saileog Ni Mhorain and Aileen Keegan Mayo Autism Camp, Castlebar.

The Westport District winner is Siofra Kennedy, Westport.

The inaugural John McCallion award went to Benny Walkin.
