Second Mac Bride Home protest planned

FOLLOWING the success of the last protest, the organisers of the Save Day Care and Respite Services at the Mac Bride Home are hosting another protest in Westport on Saturday, February 1.

The protest gets underway at 2 p.m. at the Octagon.

The organisers are inviting all 15 general election candidates as well as the seven local area councillors to attend and give their support for the reopening of the services, which have been closed for some months at the home.

Organisers hope that the people of the area will come out on the day and make their voices heard on this important local service.
