Passing of accomplished Mayo chef

THE death has taken place of Pete Durkan, Ardhoome, Meelick, Swinford.

The deceased was Head Chef at Ballynahinch Castle, Connemara, Co. Galway, and was held in very high regard within the profession.

Pete will be deeply missed by his wife Kasia, daughter Lilly and son Alex.

Predeacesed by his parents Fiona and Seamus, he will also be sadly missed by his brothers Liam and Barry, sisters Sarah, Karen and Finola, his mother-in-law Grazyna, father-in-law Romek, brother-in-law Paul, sisters-in-law Aoife, Ruth and Karolina, his large family circle and friends.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.
