Idea for special edition Mayo jersey in support of frontline staff

COULD we pull on the Mayo jersey in support of our frontline staff?

That's the question being posed this morning.

A former member of Castlebar Town Council, Harry Barrett, on twitter, has highlighted how a French football club has brought out a special edition jersey this week, with all proceeds going to front-line staff working against Covid-19 in Paris.

Paris St. Germain have raised over €200,000 for local healthcare professionals battling coronavirus with the release of a limited edition jersey.

A replica of PSG’s home strip, the jersey carries the words ‘Tous Unis’ (All Together). It also has badges pledging support to doctors.

Barret made the point: 'A special edition Mayo jersey could to something similar.'
