Number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mayo stands at 168

THE number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mayo has risen to 168.

The figure was measured at midnight last Thursday and published this evening by the Department of Health.            

It represents an increase of 15 from the statistics published yesterday.

The number of confirmed cases in Galway is 169, Sligo 39, Leitrim 31 and Roscommon 27.

Nationally, there were 33 further Covid-19 deaths, bringing the total to 320. 

An additional 553 new confirmed cases were recorded.

Including test results which were sent to Germany for testing, the total figure of those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Ireland now stands at 8,928.
