Number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mayo reaches 216

THE number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mayo has reached 216.

The figure was measured at midnight last Monday and published this evening by the Department of Health.                                    

It represents an increase of 18 from the statistics published yesterday.

The number of confirmed cases in Galway is 237, Sligo 52, Roscommon 50 and Leitrim 40.

Nationally, there were 38 further Covid-19 deaths, bringing the total to 444.

An additional 1,068 new confirmed cases were recorded.

The total figure of those who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in Ireland now stands at 12,547.
