HSE reveals number of confirmed Covid-19 cases at Mayo hospital

THE HSE has revealed that 29 patients with Covid-19 are receiving treatment at Mayo University Hospital.

The figure, published tonight, is based on statistics recorded today.

Three of the 29 cases were confirmed positive in the past 24 hours.

There are a further 24 patients at the facility with suspected Covid-19.

There are two vacant clinical beds at the hospital and 45 vacant general beds.
