Number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mayo is now 249

THE number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mayo has reached 249.

The figure was measured at midnight last Tuesday and published this evening by the Department of Health.                                         

It represents an increase of 33 from the statistics published yesterday.

The number of confirmed cases in Galway is 260, Sligo 66, Roscommon 57 and Leitrim 43.

Nationally, there were 43 further Covid-19 deaths, bringing the total to 486.

An additional 629 new confirmed cases were recorded.

The total figure of those who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in Ireland now stands at 13,271.
