Mayo hospital treating 33 patients with confirmed Covid-19
THE HSE has revealed that 33 patients with confirmed Covid-19 are currently receiving treatment at Mayo University Hospital.
The figure is based on statistics recorded at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
It represents an increase of two from Monday's figure.
There are a further 10 patients at the facility with suspected Covid-19, a decrease of ten.
Two confirmed cases are receiving treatment in the critical care unit.
There are four vacant clinical beds at the hospital and 21 vacant general beds.
