No new suspected Covid-19 cases at Mayo hospital for second consecutive day

NO new suspected Covid-19 cases have been recorded at Mayo University Hospital for the second consecutive day.

The figure, measured yesterday evening, has been released today by the HSE.

Twenty confirmed Covid-19 cases are being treated at the facility - no change in the space of 24 hours.

There are no vacant critical care beds, a drop of two from the May 17 statistic, while the number of vacant general beds has decreased by one to 33.

Two confirmed Covid-19 cases are in critical care along with one suspected case.
