30 Covid-19 cases being treated at Mayo University Hospital

Thirty Covid-19 cases are being treated at Mayo University Hospital, according to figures measured yesterday evening by the HSE and published today.

There are 20 confirmed cases, a decease of four in the space of 24 hours, while the number of suspected cases has gone from zero to 10 since Friday.

The total of vacant general beds has increased sharply from two to 26 while there is no change in the number of vacant critical care beds – two.

One confirmed Covid-19 case and one suspected case are being treated in the critical care unit.
