Mayo planning office reopens by appointment only

IN accordance with government plans regarding the phased re-opening of public counters, Mayo County Council's planning department has re-opened by appointment only with effect from today (Monday) to deal with essential business which can only be transacted in the planning office.

Any attendance at the office will be facilitated by appointment only, one person at a time, to comply with social distancing protocols, during normal business hours, for a maximum period not exceeding 15 minutes duration, in cases only where the business cannot be transacted by any other means – post, email or telephone, Dropbox facility.

Enquiries in relation to attendance at the office should be made to (094) 9064011, during normal office hours also, or via email.

A notice issued by the council said that pre-planning consultations can continue to be arranged by submitting relevant supporting documentation together with client contact details, by post or electronically, to the office.
