Design work starts on new Kiltimagh Amenity Park

INITIAL design work on the new Kiltimagh Amenity Park (KAP) is starting.

The committee have met with Patricia Tyrell, who has been appointed park designer, and who has presented her vision and ideas for Emigrant Park.

The initial draft - 'a work in progress' - met with the aspirations of all committee members and they believe it will meet those in the community too.

Explaining the exciting progress on the project on their social media, the KAP committee said when the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted to allow for larger group meetings they hope to present the ideas to the wider community.

Recently, trial holes were dug on the site.
