Mayo mourns passing of member of county's ambulance service

The death has taken place of Ciaran Forkan,The Oaks and formerly of Rocklands, Castlebar, and Swinford.

The deceased was widely popular in the community and served with distinction as a member the National Ambulance Service.

Predeceased by his mother Madeleine and son Darragh, Ciaran will be deeply missed by his loving wife Caroline, son Dylan, daughters Ellen and Erin, his father Tom, brothers Donatus and Emmett, sister Edel (O'Flatherty), mother-in-law Mary and father-in-law David, sisters-in-law Sandra, Niamh, Helen and Annmarie, brothers-in-law Mike and David, uncles, aunts, large family circle and his colleagues in the National Ambulance Service, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.

Removal from Campbell's Funeral Home, Swinford, takes place on Monday at 11 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Castlebar. 

In accordance with government and HSE directives relating to public gatherings, Funeral Mass and burial will be strictly private for family members only.May his gentle soul rest in peace
