Landmark day for new Mayo €3m. sporting facility
Work on the new Connacht GAA €3 million Air Dome project at the province’s centre of excellence at Bekan, Claremorris, is on schedule for an early September completion.
Today represents a landmark in the development of the factility as Air Dome is getting inflated.

Construction on the Air Dome in Bekan commenced last October but was halted in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Work on the facility, which will be the largest indoor sports arena of its kind in the world, recommenced a number of weeks after the country moved into phase one of the restrictions being eased.
