THE following are today’s Mayo death and funeral notices.

MARY RUANE, FOXFORD

Mary Ruane, Straide, Foxford.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, brother Neil and sister Catherine. Beloved mother of Tony, Catherine, Sean and grandchildren Maeve, Darragh, Lorcan, Catriona and Niamh.

Sadly missed by her sons, daughter,daughter-in-law Marie, Sisters Eileen and Peggy, brothers Dennis and Tim, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,nieces,nephews,neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Michael Davitt Centre, Straide on Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. with removal afterwards to St Peters and Pauls Church, Straide. Mass on Thursday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery.

JAMES DUFFY, BALLINA

James (Jimmy) Duffy, St. Patrick's Well, Killala Rd, Ballina and Ballaghaderreen.

Predeceased by his parents Bridie and Patrick and his brother John. James (Jimmy), husband of Kathleen and father of Pauline, James, Anne-Marie, John, Patrick, Bernadette, Michael, Thomas, Joseph, Peter, Marie-Thérése, Mark and Eoin and most special grandfather to all his grandchildren. Remembered fondly by his sister Mary and brothers Joe and Padraig, extended family and all his nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends he will be missed by so many.

Funeral cortège will leave his residence on Wednesday at 12 p.m. to arrive to St. Patrick's Church, Ballina for Requiem Mass at 12.30 p.m. with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery.

May the gentle souls of the deceased rest in peace.
