Mayo GAA extends sponsorships for club championships
Mayo GAA have announced the extension of the sponsorship deals for the upcoming club championships.
At Monday night's Mayo GAA county board meeting at Elverys MacHale Park, Connacht Gold (senior), Homeland Retail (underage), Egan Jewellers (intermediate) and the TF Royal Hotel & Theatre (junior) will remain the main sponsors of their respective championships.
“We are delighted to confirm that Aurivo Co-op, Egan Jewellers and the TF Royal Hotel & Theatre will be sponsoring our club championships in 2020,” said county board chairman Liam Moffatt in a statement.
He added: “All three companies have strong bases in Mayo and it is great to be able to work with these local companies during the upcoming club championships.
“The clubs are the lifeblood of the GAA and having these companies on board is a great endorsement to the vibrant nature of the Mayo club championships across our senior, intermediate and junior grades.
“The games begin this weekend and I have no doubt over the next number of weeks will see many enthralling games taking place right across the county.”
Seamus Hannon, national account manager for Aurivo Consumer Foods, said his company was delighted to continue its relationship with Mayo GAA through its sponsorship of the senior club championship and underage competitions.
He explained: “Through our Connacht Gold and Homeland brands, Aurivo has a strong history of supporting local sporting clubs across the north-west region. We wish Mayo GAA every success and look forward to another exciting championship.”
