Passing of gifted Mayo hairdresser is widely mourned
The death has occurred of Pauline Duffy, Brooklands, Castlebar, and late of Lanmore, Liscarney, Westport.
Aged 48, Pauline had worked for many years in the hair and beauty business.
She was a gifted hairdresser and was held in high regard by all who came in contact with her.
She was cherished daughter of the late Bridie and Michael Joe Duffy, Lanmore, adored mother of Abbie and loving sister of Angela, Freda (Durkan), Ann Marie (Gavin), John and the late Tony and P. Joe.
Deepest sympathy is extended to her daughter, sisters, brother, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and many friends on their great loss.
She will be greatly missed by her many friends in Liscarney and her adopted town of Castlebar.
Pauline will lie in repose at the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, on Sunday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock.
The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, on Monday for Mass at 1 p.m. followed by burial in Aughagower Cemetery.
May she rest in eternal peace.
The funeral will be private to family and close friends.
