Young entrepeneur set to appear on Late Late Show

A young Mayo entrepreneur will feature on The Late Late Show this Friday night.

Ronan Hughes, a native of The Neale, will feature as part of a campaign by the show to highlight and support small businesses across Ireland.

The 17-year-old, a fifth year student at Ballinrobe Community School, started Hughsey Sports in Transition Year, a sports gear business that can supply everything including jackets, half zips, crew necks, training jerseys, shorts, socks, gloves, training footballs and much more and designs all the gear himself.

He plays for The Neale GAA and Ballinrobe CS teams - he sponsored The Neale's minor team, on who he plays for, a set of new jerseys - as well as being a member of the Mayo minor football team that won the Connaught minor football championship last year.
