Light of Love this Christmas in aid of Butterfly Garden

THE Butterfly Garden is a community project started by a group of bereaved parents in Swinford.

The aim of the project is to create a memorial garden that brings comfort to bereaved families who have faced miscarriages, stillbirth, infant and child deaths, to know you're not alone in a time that can feel very lonely. They want to create a hopeful space showing love for the little lives taken too soon.

This Christmas, the tree outside Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Swinford, will be lit in honour of loved ones.

The Butterfly Garden invites you to shine a light of love in honour of or in memory of a loved one.

A light costs €5 and all proceeds are in aid of the Butterfly Garden. Each sponsor will receive a card for their light of love.

A Mass will be dedicated to all of the lights of love on December 12 at 10 a.m. This will be live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/swinford.

Lights will be switched on the week of December 8 and this too will be live streamed on The Butterfly Garden Facebook Page - https://www.facebook.com/TheButterflyGardenMayo.
