Knock Shrine reopening today

KNOCK Shrine is reopening to the public today (Wednesday).

Opening at Level 3 restrictions, the shrine has issued a statement expressing delight to be welcoming people back to public worship at Knock Shrine.

The following are the times of Masses, confessions and other information.

Masses: All public Masses will be in the Basilica, with social distancing, queueing on a first come first basis, and please observe the instructions of ushers and security. There is a maximum number of 200 allowed in the Basilica (four pods of 50 people each). Masks are recommended as we are all responsible for each other’s safety.

Mass times: 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. each day are open to the public. An additional Mass will be celebrated at 7.30 p.m. (preceded by Rosary at 7 p.m.) on Saturday evenings only.

Confessions: 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. daily in the Chapel of Reconciliation.

Private prayer: Daily in the Parish Church and Apparition Chapel.

All offices, Mass card offices and bookshop are opened from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
