Passing of former staff member of Castlebar Railway Station

The death of Martin King, Derrynagooley, Castlebar, is widely mourned in the community.

A former member of the staff of Castlebar Railway Station, he was held in high regard by everybody who knew him, such was his warm and sincere personality.

Martin will be sadly missed by his heartbroken and loving family - wife Bridie, son Declan, daughter-in-law Laura, granddaughter Anna, brothers Seamus and Patrick, nephew, nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews-in-law, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.

Funeral Mass takes place in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyheane, on Wednesday at 12 noon.

Martin will be laid to rest afterwards in Ballyheane Cemetery.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
