Ballinrobe mourns passing of much-loved personality

The death has occurred of Sarah Horan (née Noone), better known as Ina, late of Neale Road, Ballinrobe, and formerly of Mount Street, Claremorris.

Ina passed away peacefully in the excellent care of the management and staff of Friar's Lodge, Ballinrobe.

A kind and caring woman who served in the nursing profession for many years, news of her passing has evoked a huge sense of loss in the community.

Predeceased by her much loved twin sister Betty Killeen and brother Michael Noone, she is survived by her husband Billy, children Michael (Dublin), Liam, Maurice (Tralee), Elizabeth Bree (Westport) and Sara, grandchildren Dara, Patrick, Sinead, Michelle, Emma, Fiona, Ina, Kimberley and Jean, sister Mary Fahy (Galway), brother John Noone (Claremorris), son-in-law Paul Bree, daughters-in-law Teresa, Noreen and Brid, brother-in-law Con Horan, sisters-in-law, Patricia Noone, Maura Roche and Carmel Biggins, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and many kind neighbours and friends and former nursing colleagues, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Cortége will arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe, tomorrow (Saturday) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in the New Cemetery.

Due to the HSE and government guidelines the funeral at all stages will be private for family only.
