New Mayo ladies senior team manager appointed

The Mayo LGFA County Board have appointed Michael Moyles as the new county senior team manager. He was ratified at a board meeting this evening.

Moyles, a former Mayo and Crossmolina Deel Rovers player, has coached and managed at various levels, including stints with his club, the Mayo junior men's teams, the Leitrim Under 20 and senior men's teams, and Knockmore. He was also involved with Mayo ladies as a coach in 2015.

“Mayo LGFA would like to take this opportunity to wish Michael and all his backroom team the very best of luck for the 2021 season,” the organisation said in announcing the appointment this evening.

Included in the backroom team are administrator and selector Aidan McLoughlin, Swinford, and team selectors Tom Carney, Ballinrobe, and Marita McDonald, Castlebar Mitchels, as well as Terry Kennedy, Ger Cafferkey, Austin O'Malley, Paul Jennings, Evan Regan and Conor Finn.
